Pilates in Twickenham

Now closed for new patients

We're extremely lucky to be able to offer both mat based Pilates classes and 1:1 Rehabilitation and Reformer Pilates sessions at SYNERGY.

Pilates is a form of exercise that emphasises the development of core strength, flexibility, and body alignment. It involves a series of movements that focus on controlled breathing, precise movements, and the engagement of the deep abdominal muscles.

Pilates can be beneficial for anyone who has suffered from back pain as it helps to strengthen the muscles that support the spine, improve posture, and increase flexibility, all of which can alleviate pain and prevent future injuries.

Additionally, Pilates is a low-impact exercise that can be customised to fit any fitness level, making it a great workout option for beginners and advanced athletes alike.

Low Impact Strengthening & Postural Control

Our Pilates Classes

Our small group classes (5 max) are a fantastic way to join others while getting the attention you need from an expert instructor without getting lost in the crowd of a bigger class.

This 45 minute class is perfect for those looking to include some core focused work into their current exercise regime or for those looking to support their spine health and perhaps returning from injury. With plenty of exercise variations we are delighted to make this a mixed ability class suitable for anyone.

1:1 Rehab Reformer Pilates

A very bespoke 1 to 1 session that links your rehabilitation needs with the Reformer machine. A Pilates Reformer may look like a torturous device but it is far from it. It is a versatile piece of equipment that not only builds excellent core strength but ensures all ranges of movement can be worked and improved.

These sessions are designed to take the fundamentals of traditional Reformer Pilates and tailor it specifically to your individual needs.
