FAQ
Most frequent questions and answers
Yes! As long as following a thorough initial assessment, we believe we can help then we will always treat on the first visit. Very occasionally we may need to refer for further tests/imaging (such as MRI/x-ray) prior to treatment commencing. If on the assessment we believe you have a poor prognosis or that somebody else may be better suited to help, then we will always advise accordingly – we will never start treatment on somebody we don’t believe will benefit from our service!
Our modern clinic is run by the practitioners without any assistance. This means that when you visit us you will only speak with trained professionals that can answer your questions with confidence and work for your specific needs. We are an integrated team of practitioners working together to provide you the best possible care.
This question can only truly be answered following an initial consultation. However, if your pain is related to joints, muscles and nerves then the answer is yes! We are an experienced team who are used to dealing with many neuro-musculoskeletal complaints. We are always happy to chat through any questions you may have prior to booking an appointment.

We do not keep cash on site and therefore accept card payment only.
All of our practitioners are licensed and registered health providers and therefore recognised by most insurance companies. If you are looking to claim your sessions using private health insurance our clinic policy is that we require payment in-house from you rather than us chasing your insurance company for outstanding payments. We are able to supply you with an invoice which (depending on your insurance provider) you can use to claim back for the service received. It is your responsibility to find out from your provider if your cover is accepted using this method.
As per our cancellation policy, if you need to reschedule or cancel your session we require 24 hours advance notice. If you cancel your appointment without rescheduling within 24 hours, you will be charged for the whole session. If you cancel but reschedule your appointment within 24 hours, you will be charged half price of the session.
Amazingly we are able to offer a small amount of free parking at the clinic (a real rarity in Twickenham!). You will receive full details of how you get into our car park in your booking confirmation email. However, due to limited parking we do ask that if you are able to walk/cycle (movement in medicine after all!) that you please do so. There is also Holly Road car park a 3 minute walk away (again, we love to encourage walking wherever possible) where you can get 30 minutes free parking if you are a Richmond Card holder.
